Morning Surf Stole-Scarf

Wide enough to be a stole, drapey enough to wear as a scarf, I love how this pattern turned out.

Fiber: Susan's Spinning Bunny cultivated silk
plyed with
Lisa Souza's "Mardi Gras" colorway in superfine superwash merino

Over 600 yards of light fingering weight yarn

knitted on size 3 needles.

What a pretty scarf! The snow out your window makes me cold just seeing it. Brrr.

So pretty, Donna! Is that the one you were wearing when I saw you that snowy weekend?

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for your comment on my "Spousal Support" post. I figured I was not alone!

Your knitting is fabulous! I especially love the scarf/stole in this post. I knitted a feather and fan scarf using worsted weight yarn, and I thought I would never finish that thing! I can't imagine making anything that size using fingering weight yarn!
