Verity's Second Yarn

Here are my girls spinning. Verity's first yarn was not knittable, and so her goal was to make her second something she could knit. She succeeded quite well. In fact, she spun this so fine that I may have to teach her to knit lace. One cute little skein.

Go, Verity! And *definitely* go Mom for teaching her!

I love the way little kids are intrigued by this process when they get into it. One of the gals here has become a dealer for Schacht wheels, and her daughter (about 6) decided that the new Ladybug is all hers. The kids at the demo some weeks ago were so pleased with themselves for spinning *yarn* (and some of their parents/grandparents were astonished!). I've no idea if any of them managed to continue, although I doubt it since they had no other spinners in their circle. I'm glad Verity doesn't suffer from that lack!! :-)
